This is a charming part of Cleburne is located right near the Plaza Theater and makes for a great place to grab a meal before or after a show. The theme of heroes, while only moderately incorporated in the decor, is a great discussion starter for families. The menu, however, lacks a lot of variety and the food is just satisfactory - nothing amazing. The staff is warm and fun, making the experience memorable. This is a solid eatery located in the middle of many other things to do.

Great food every time we visit. Super clean environment. The staff is very friendly and efficient. Highly recommend! A "must stop" when passing thru Cleburne. Try the Mama or Papa Combo.

This little cafe is nestled inside a shopping plaza surrounded by little boutiques. I had the All-American cheeseburger with onion rings. Man, was it delicious! The bun was especially tasty! If you are going through Cleburne, make sure to stop at this little spot on Main St. It's a must!!

When we are in town with our RV, we like to stop in here. They are always friendly and the food is good! It is always fun to look in th boutiques while they are making the food.

We had high hopes for this place but after 35 dollars and the ride home our food (the turkey, bacon and cheese panini) came out burnt, with barely any meat to speak of, and when we took it back to get a new one they didn't give us fries despite having ordered the combo. The only reason this place is getting a star is because the chocolate sheet cake is delicious.

The staff is friendly, we went around 2:30 pm and it only took 5 minutes to get our food. Wasn't too impressed with the Frito Loco: BBQ brisket on top of Fritos with lettuce & tomatoes just isn't my thing. They offer burgers, crispy chicken sandwich, chicken fried steak, salads & wraps--usual "American comfort food". This place was pretty good but I'll probably try somewhere new the next time we visit Cleburne.

Great spot for a relaxing meal with friends. Everything we have had here has been excellent. Nice atmosphere with the little shops surrounding the cafe. Be sure to try Ivy’s chocolate cake. You can’t go wrong.

The service was very good and the workers were friendly. Our food came out pretty quick, but during the wait we were able to shop around in the building. Our burgers were slightly overcooked, but still tasted delicious. The fries were soft and hot, and not overly salted. Overall, great experience and we'll keep coming back.

I got the mamas salad and potato combination which was pretty bland. I was looking forward to trying their homemade ranch dressing. Unfortunately, when we got our dinner home, we found it wasn’t included. It might have helped. My husband got the turkey bacon panini. Looked like it was just a grilled sandwich, no panini press marks and didn’t appear pressed at all. He said it was fine but not what he expected. Overall, the food was fine but not worth going out of your way for.

Absolutely the best burger I have ever eaten. Great friendly staff. I think Heroes Cafe may be one of the best kept secrets in Cleburne!

Never knew this place existed. I was amazed at the food. Great place and not overly packed even during lunch hours on the weekend. If you go on a busy time all tables might've taken and will have to take it to go. Over all my family loved the food. Definitely a spot to return.

Chicken tortilla soup was wonderful! Not to spicy. Their sweet tea was a perfect blend & Their burgers are to die for! All & all great service, (Ruby was sweet) & yummy food.

I loved the atmosphere. The sandwich I purchased I wasn't a fan of. A little on the pricy side but I will go back and try something else.

Everything here is good, the staff is super friendly. Try the combo salads, Mama combo is salad, half baked potato (really big) and shredded turkey, or the Pappy combo with shredded brisket.

Good burger in a reasonable time. Less one star because despite the name and the decorations including the "Army Strong" sign, they do not offer a military discount. So many places do - its odd that they don't.

Charming cafe next to the theater. Dining room is pleasant and old fashioned. Chicken fried steak was not listed on the chalkboard menu but you can definitely order it for $7.50. It comes with hand mashed potatoes and green beans. CFS is obviously not hand-breaded but is very good quality, hot, crispy, and tender. Everything was very good. Exceptional value for $7.50. Clean restroom.

Stood in line for an awkward amount of time. The two ladies working there had there backs to us and never acknowledged us. The two ladies in line in front of us said they were not waiting any longer and left.after a few more minutes we decided to leave too.guess that table of six had them flustered.

Excellent food, excellent service!

I've enjoyed going here in the past but today has probably changed that. This evening I ordered the Ruben panini which I have enjoyed before and tonight 90% of the meat was on one side. (They cut the panini in half) and not much else on it with burned onion rings. The staff seemed more interested in visiting with friends at the counter. I'll go around the corner for a sandwich next time.THE OWNER DID CONTACT ME WITH APOLOGIES AND OFFERED A FREE MEAL TO MAKE UP FOR THIS. THAT WAS NICE !
